I had been looking forward to this next wedding since the Fall before when I had the genuine pleasure of meeting Jessica. She was so sweet the instant I met her and I loved visiting with her and her mom at their home. I was excited also to finally photograph a Wedding at the Sweet Briar Inn & Spa located in Geneseo. It’s a beautiful old historic mansion where the couple has the entire house and grounds for their celebration. Jessica was SO sweet and adorable and I truly enjoyed capturing every second of her getting ready for the big day!

Since everything took place in one spot, I was able to get some pictures of the guys getting ready too … just across the hall from the girls. I loved how the look was elegant casual … and was glad for the guys because it was pretty hot but they looked relaxed and easy breezy; very handsome bunch!

Once everyone was all set upstairs, I headed out to the grounds to get the ceremony details and guests. It was a perfect afternoon over looking the Genesee Valley. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.

Jessica was absolutely stunning as she made her way down the aisle with her dad… I love this shot; how the sunlight shown perfectly through the trees as she looked over to her dad…

I learned VERY quickly that Jason is a jokester … and as he began his vows during the ceremony, he made the funniest joke and everyone burst out laughing …

The ceremony was short and sweet, touching and funny at the same time! We had a lot of formals to get through … lots of friends and family but it was all so relaxing. It’s so nice to have everything in one spot. The couple was able to enjoy a cocktail in between shots, and visit with their guests and just enjoy being newlyweds.

Before I knew it, my time was up and it was time to go … I wish I could have stayed all night!

My next Wedding took me to beautiful Canandaigua Lake ~ it was a perfect day too … overcast with no direct sunlight; a photographers dream!We took pictures at a huge beautiful lake house where the girls were getting ready first…they were all so beautiful!!

Once the girls were all set, I headed over to the church to get pictures of all the guys, details, and guests starting to arrive.

Erin was a vision as she began her walk down the aisle escorted by her dad … so sweet

Somehow, we managed to get a big group shot of all the guests after the receiving line was through … thanks everyone for pulling together to get this shot for Dave and Erin !!

Beautiful Steamboat Landing, Canandaigua, NY … still overcast and perfect !

The celebration went on into the night and it was a blast!! I was truly honored to be a part of this Wedding and every time I do one I can’t believe how lucky I am to meet these amazing couples … Congratulations Erin and Dave !!!

My last Wedding took me to Buffalo,NY where I had the incredible opportunity to photograph one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the privilege to meet. Nick and Megan’s Wedding Day was beautiful….HOT, but beautiful. I always love getting to take pictures of the bride getting ready before heading to the church. They are some of the most genuine pictures ever taken and I just love it. After the ceremony, we took pictures at the local Firehouse which was a blast ~ Nick is a Fireman and it was something they both really wanted to do. The trucks even showed up outside the church after the ceremony !

We had fun taking formals at a park and then headed to the reception where everyone had an amazing time.

They even had a Firetruck Cake!!
