Oh my gosh, I LOVE the Senators Mansion! We had the perfect day for this incredibly beautiful Wedding. When I first saw Lauren come through the door, she was radiant, calm, and ready for her Big day. I LOVED her dress…the ballerina style with all the tulle at the bottom.
She explained “when are you ever going to be able to wear a dress like this again” Agreed!! It was perfect for her. She was so cute…as she was waiting to get ready, she snacked on some Cheetos as she hung out with her bridesmaids. Adorable. We all went upstairs to start getting ready … she helped out her girls, and then the moms came up to help the Bride … the whole time, Lauren was remarkably calm and extremely sweet.

Wow, stunning … it was so special to have her closest girlfriends, and the mom’s with her to get into her dress and accessorize. The whole experience is always something I can’t believe I get to be a part of.

After she was all set getting ready, I headed down to the ceremony area to photograph Mike and his groomsmen getting ready too. He was also remarkably calm, and sweet natured. And so handsome!!

Shortly after getting these shots, and the guests mingling and being seated…Lauren was ready to make her entrance on the arm of her father. The music started playing, and they made their way across the open field towards their sunflower adorned gazebo

I love this shot … just as Mike and Lauren join hands and begin to move forward towards their minister, Lauren’s dad behind her glances over at her mother; just out of view; with the sweetest smile in recognition of their little girl getting married… (sweet sigh)

The ceremony was very short, but perfectly beautiful.

As they walked their recessional, bubbles filled the air, and the receiving line began. Everything moved along smoothly and into the cocktail hour. What an amazing day for a Wedding…perfect weather for it being outside.

After the formals, we headed inside to the reception for the introductions, toasts and an amazing dinner! The cake was beautiful … perfectly Autumn.

As people were finishing up their dinners, I took Lauren and Mike out for a few more formals just of them around the grounds of the Mansion

Back inside for dancing, cake cutting, and a celebration that lasted into the night ~ so much fun!!

Thank you Lauren and Mike for letting me be a part of your special celebration ~ I had an amazing time, and wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!! Congratulations!!
