Wow, another HOT Saturday but we made it through :) Colleen and Ryan’s Wedding ceremony took place in a beautiful cathedral church in Avon, with the girls getting ready and celebrating later at Sweet Briar in Geneseo ~ two weekends in a row at the estate and I couldn’t be happier :)
Colleen was adorable as she got ready with her bridesmaids…and I LOVED the color they were all wearing…HOT pink! They each had a matching Gerber daisy in their hair too, so cute! We had an amazing day…perfect weather for a Summer wedding. Nothing seemed rushed either … just enough time for mingling during the cocktail hour, dinner, and then dancing was held at the house instead of the tent which gave way to a perfectly romantic evening, and end to their beautiful and fun celebration.
Thank you Colleen and Ryan! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and love :)

Please check the ‘ordering gallery’ on my website: Sue Egan Photography in a few weeks to see all the pictures from the Wedding. The password will be the couples new last name once it’s been posted. Thanks!

I’ve known Jeff for years…we worked together at Kodak Professional and he thankfully got me through some very difficult days with his crazy sense of humor…thanks Jeff! The hardest part about leaving Kodak on this photography venture was having to say goodbye to so many amazing co-workers. I wouldn’t have lasted as long as I did if it weren’t for the team I was a member of and Jeff was a huge part of that.
When I got the call that he’d gotten engaged, I was ecstatic! I was even more excited that he had chosen ME to be his Wedding photographer!! We got together to meet and I instantly saw the connection he had with his fiance …they are so cute together and she totally gets him. I’m really looking forward to celebrating and capturing their Big day!

When I asked them what kind of setting they wanted for their session, they agreed on trees and water, but not the beach. I had a few ideas, but I also kind of wanted to find something new for them, and for me. It’s important to find new locations and not to stick to the same places all the time. After searching online for a while, I came across this little park that we’ve driven by a thousand times without knowing it was ever there… Corbett’s Glen, a secret treasure right here in the city! I’m excited to go back there and walk through the whole park…you should check it out too!

So, here’s to Jeff and Tari as we look forward to their Wedding day this October ~ congratulations on your Engagement! :)

I would normally not have used this one … but it’s fitting because Jeff is mid sentence … and Jeff is always mid sentence… a little chatter box  :)   And I love how Tari is looking at him with the cutest smile waiting for him to finish… adorable.

This one is hilarious because Tari is trying to kiss him and Jeff keeps leaning further and further back and her facial expression has gone from happy to desperation in trying to get her kiss to him…They eventually got together  :)

The Sweet Briar Inn & Spa is truly one of the most romantic venues for a Wedding that I have ever had the pleasure to visit. We got married there ourselves last Fall and it seemed like it was out of a fairytale…just like Sophie & Bill’s special day. What an amazing celebration. I had so much fun with them on our Engagement shoot too …Bill is a real jokester … and Sophie has one of the sweetest giggles I’ve ever heard … a perfect match. They were laughing and smiling the entire day.

Absolutely stunning

Bill is a sweetheart … you could see his excitement and the love he has for Sophie throughout the entire celebration…

Here come the flower girls ready for the ceremony to begin ~ so cute!

Beautiful brides maid…and the champagne color was so pretty!

The walk through the trees on the red carpet is like nothing else to be remembered….she peeked through the trees on her way through with a huge smile on her face. Her mom escorted her and throughout the whole Wedding, I couldn’t stop watching them…such an amazing and incredible bond between them.

There goes Bill…cracking a joke! :)

Two beautiful heartfelt readings

Vows…they both were really steady and clear with what they were saying…eloquent.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!

awwww!

Toasts and cheers

Glasses clanking for kissing while greeting the guests

Their first dance -  “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”  (Reggae version)

Sophie danced with her mom … there wasn’t a dry eye in the place … they were drawn so close together during the whole song…so tight. This was one of just a few shots where their faces came apart to laugh…I can’t believe I get to witness such powerful love on a regular basis…so blessed.

Bill and his mom …so sweet…she thanked me every time I took her picture…adorable.

Friends hamming it up
:)

Sophie showing off her beautiful new rings

You would absolutely NOT believe this cupcake tower… A. mazing! Cupcakes everywhere with little butterflies seeming to be flying around it … I can still smell the frosting!

A few more pictures around sunset…

LOTS and LOTS of dancing shots but I’ve decided to narrow down the post to just this one fun group shot.

Sweet Briar veranda at night time … decadent.

Congratulations Sophie & Bill …. thank you SO much for inviting me into your special day!
