I absolutely LOVE Fall Weddings! Stephanie and Brian had a perfect afternoon for their celebration. I’ll admit, it was a little bit on the chilly side … but personally, I think it’s invigorating
Stephanie got ready at a relatives home out in Rush, and it was SO cute! It was completely remodeled on the inside, and I admired all the work they put into it. It was a beautiful backdrop for our photos. I love all the hustle and bustle as everyone’s running around getting ready. Last minute hairspray, curling irons, and lipstick touch ups. It’s such a fun time. Ok, maybe it’s more fun for ME because I’m not panicking
After getting all our shots, we headed to a park to meet up with the guys and family for formals before the ceremony. Once the boutonnieres were pinned on, we were ready to go! I don’t have a preference either way for formals, but it’s nice to do them before hand because it leaves more time for a receiving line, and for the bride and groom to attend their cocktail hour too which is exactly what Stephanie and Brian did.
The ceremony was outside under a beautiful wooden arbor decorated with mums and pumpkins! Everything took place at the Wild Wood Country Club in Rush, NY and they did an amazing job!

We had a perfect sunny blue sky above us for the entire celebration…a beautiful day! The guests started to arrive, and shortly after the ceremony began. The wind blew beautifully through Stephanie’s veil, and the sun sparkled on its’ crystals. I absolutely loved the sermon … believe it or not, I really do listen to them as I’m shooting. Witnessing a Wedding is so sacred and special … I absolutely love being a part of them in capturing the memories they will treasure for their lifetime together.
Once they were pronounced husband and wife, everyone pretty much hurried inside to get warm.

The receiving line began, and along with it, cocktail hour. Everyone started to relax and have a good time. Stephanie and Brian danced their first dance together as husband and wife, followed by a toast from the best man…and then dinner was served ~ wow! Everyone was raving about the Italian buffet. The Chicken Parmesan was a hit! The guests tore up the dance floor and partied on into the night. The cake cutting went better than I expected … I truly thought Brian was going to smash it into Stephanie’s face … he behaved.
Thank you Stephanie and Brian for choosing me to photograph your celebration ~ I had a great time, and am excited to share the whole Wedding with you soon!
