I have such a strong connection and bond with animals…I often wonder what’s more sad than losing a beloved pet.  Of course there is no comparison to family … it’s just that the silent communication, the everlasting commitment, devotion, unconditional love are all feelings and emotions that go hand in hand with a pet through out their entire lives spent with a loving and caring owner.  And sadly enough, not so good owners too.  :(

Jeff and Melissa recently lost their 16 year old mini Greyhound and after a few months of mourning, decided to let some puppy love into their home.  And BOY did they!  This little guy was full of energy and happiness.  I absolutely love the name; Cooper.  I could play with him all day!  He was adopted with love from Lollypop Farms which I am incredibly thankful for.

I photograph pets too; not just people and events; and I would love to spend some time with you and your cherished pet in a fun session.   Just let me know!

Happy Mothers Day!

May 9, 2010

I am so incredibly lucky and blessed to be celebrating my  First Mothers Day this year. My baby girl was born on February 24th and today she is 2 months and 2 weeks old.  She is growing up right before my eyes and I know it’s going to go way too fast.  I’m only 2 months into motherhood and already I have so much more of an appreciation to all the moms out there.   So today, I celebrate them for their patience, dedication, guidance, and love.   I wouldn’t be half the mom I am becoming without the support of all the other mom’s behind me.

Now, more than ever, I am thankful for photography … to be able to freeze these incredible moments in time so that I can reflect back on my memories over the years.  There’s no such thing as too many pictures!

:)

Happy Mothers Day with love from myself, and my baby girl Kayla!
