Let the rain pour

May 7, 2010

Now THIS is a love story.  This couple lived in the same apartment building; one of the mansions on East Ave.  The day that their paths crossed was love at first sight.  He was walking out of the house, and she was on her way in….and now they are planning their Wedding day.

:)

I showed up at the house to photograph them there; where he proposed.  I’ll never forget how I lit up in smiles when I saw her that day.  She got out of their car and as she walked toward me to say hello I was overwhelmed with happiness for them.  She had a huge smile of hellos for me, and the flower in her hair was such a fun and beautiful touch.  And if that wasn’t enough…she pulls out a vintage hot pink polka dotted umbrella!  Ooooh, such fun!

We re-enacted some scenes at the house and then found a beautiful brick wall out back too.  Their first conversation was Megan showing Brennan the mail room…so cute!

From there, we made our way to the  George Eastman House for their beautiful gardens.  What a perfect setting.  If you haven’t been to the museum, you MUST go…but don’t forget the gardens while you’re there.  Each season is remarkable.  Spring definitely has a unique character to it though…all the blooming trees, freshly trimmed shrubs and cut grass and colorful flowers…just stunning.

They were completely adorable together; warm and bubbly.  I am so excited to photograph their Wedding this Summer at the Esperanza Mansion; a treasure on the Finger Lakes.
