What a blessing to witness a union between two people who have already shared their lives for 20 years.  This union represented their commitment as they shared the ceremony in front of their closest friends and family.  The room was so full of love and happiness and celebration for the official coming together of their relationship and it was truly my honor to share these memories with them so they can reflect back on this very special day for their lifetime together.

Congratulations Fran & Kim!  :D

Their day was picture perfect; sunny blue skies around 70 degrees in Autumn.  I can still feel the breeze on my skin as the wind gently blew through the trees.

Their celebration took place at the VFW hall in Greece and they did a great job!

The fall colors they chose were beautiful together; oranges, reds, and purples

They even had custom m&m’s made in those colors with their names on them ~ I love that! :D

They told me later that they’d had these wine glasses for around 20 years and were saving them for their union; wow!

The ceremony is about to begin…there’s something so peaceful about lighting ceremony candles

Congratulations Fran& Kim!!! :)

This crowd could cheer!  And there was singing too!

This one table broke out into song singing “Goin’ to the Chapel’ … LOVED that!

aw!

What’s sweeter than Grandmas kissing babies?

While people were mingling, and after our Wedding couple had something to eat, I took them outside to spend some time together.  I had to get a picture of them in front of the HUGE tank on the lawn…wow!

You could easily feel the love and comfort between these two.  There was such an ease about them.  I admire their longevity as a couple, and their commitment to one another very much…relationships aren’t easy, and are never perfect; but they work when you’re perfect for one another.

Cake!

Sometimes I have to be careful and not get distracted by the happy baby bundles at Weddings…but they’re SO cute I could photograph them all day!

These are my AWESOME neighbors … they are such a great couple and I love hanging out and chatting with them when we see each other.  They were right there to help when we brought our baby girl home during a snow storm; plowed a path right to our front door for us!  They even gave us a little hand painted chair for her room with her name on it.  Wow, right?  The best.  You don’t find neighbors like that very easily; we’re very lucky.  ♥

Rings!

I’m going to end on this one … They have 4 little dogs who are a part of their family.  Fran is a photographer too, and she set up this portrait in her back yard…dressing them all up and having them pose at the same time must have taken her all day!  Great job and such an important part of their celebration…so glad they could be with them on this special day.

Congratulations Fran & Kim ~ Thank you for inviting me into your lives and celebration ~ I’m so honored to have been a part of it and I’m SO happy for you both! :)
(Please check back at the end of November for updates on viewing the entire Wedding day.  Thank You!)

Mommy’s little pumpkin

October 10, 2010

It’s my favorite time of year ~ Autumn!  And what comes with Autumn?  Pumpkins!  My mom picked up this adorable little pumpkin hat in Vermont and I just LOVE it!  This is my baby girl Kayla at 7 months old.  She is sitting up on her own now which is awesome because now I don’t have to prop her up on anything for pictures.  Her daddy is off to the side though JUST in case she wobbles like she’s going to tumble :)   She never did though.  I think she’s going to be walking soon..eek!

SO cute! :D
