Getting to know my couples is such a wonderful experience…it means so much to me to be able to spend some time together with them, and to be invited into their lives. Margaret and Peter’s Engagement session was the perfect opportunity to share a little of this and that about each other, and it made me even more excited to see them again on their Wedding day.
It was a perfect afternoon…not too sunny, not too warm, just right. I love the entire Wedding day and celebration, but there’s something about the Bride getting ready that makes me the most excited, and seeing Margaret was no exception. Absolutely gorgeous, just beaming. And her girlfriends were all so sweet, helpful, and generous…and mom made sure everyone had clean teeth! LOL

Watching her mom shuffle around getting things ready, helping the girls, making sure everyone was eating was adorable. If I make it to see my daughters Wedding day, I can’t even imagine what that kind of happiness might feel like as a parent. ♥ The table was set beautifully with fresh fruits and pastries. I happened to see this card on the counter top and did a double take… ‘To Have and to Hold.’ (look closely)

Ok, so on to the dress and details!

Margaret shared the story, and history of her Grandparents in this picture…there were so many references to her family, in the details of this celebration.

I love this picture…there’s so much excitement when a Bride is ready to get into her dress.

SO gorgeous…and Happy!!
(and p.s I’m loving the light pink walls in this room!)

Her hair was so romantic. All the girls hair was done soft and romantic, just lovely.

These were some of the most helpful bridesmaids I’ve met…they even had an ‘emergency kit’ for the Bride filled with things specifically for her should anything go awry.
And, they’re SO pretty too!

Mom’s first look at her daughter as the beautiful Bride ♥

The mom put that mirror there specifically for a picture like this…she really did think of everything. She looks amazing and I was so happy for her because I could almost feel what she was thinking. SO much love for her daughter.

Ok, time to get Married!

Look how sharp these guys are? Love this classic walk to the Church.

Peter! SO handsome…look at that smile!

Awaiting her walk down the aisle

♥

The Asbury First United Methodist Church a tricky church to photograph in. You are not allowed past the 8th pew all the way in the back of the church. It’s a VERY long processional walk. There are even two altars. They start at one, and then go even further away.
The detail in this church is beyond amazing. You definitely feel that you are in the presence of something as soon as you walk in.

Congratulations!

Hooray! A thumbs up from the Groom! He is a LUCKY guy!

If you can make the time for a receiving line, you should…everyone can’t wait to congratulate you and some of the best pictures come from them…so much genuine happiness!

A first for me! I have never seen anyone in a Wedding wear a top hat! This is the Father and Mother of the Bride. I love how she’s ‘checking’ him out

We had an amazing weather day…not too much sun, not too much heat…and a little breeze now and then. Perfect for long veils!

LOL, I wish I knew what they were saying…look at the Grooms face!

Such a gorgeous couple …super sweet too. ♥

These Grandparents traveled quite a distance to be here on this special day. It made me really happy to be able to take this picture for them.

Ok, seriously, I’m staring at these two. ♥

How sweet are these girls! I love the flowers by Kittelberger Florist too…the subtle greens are perfect against the vibrant blues.

These guys are SO cool! LOVE this.

During the reception at the Monroe Golf Club, I noticed that they had frames on all the tables with images from our Engagement session together. Such a sweet way to share them
with the guests while they’re mingling.

Wow, LOOK at this room!

I did a double take as I noticed the butter was in the shape of golf balls!!

Welcome to the new Mr. & Mrs! Beautiful first dance to Josh Grobin’s “When you say you love me.”
Steve Turner with Turner Music Productions did an awesome job! Super professional, and kept the party rocking all night….smiling the whole time

All the toasts were amazing…so filled with love and happiness for the newlyweds.

Super sweet and courteous cake cutting

Father/Daughter dance

Mother/Son dance

Party time!

This singer is in the family…he was amazing! SO fun to listen to!

I love this picture of mom…listening to her Husbands toast ♥

Congratulations Margaret & Peter! You and your wedding were incredible…Happiness to you both, always! ♥

With love and bluebirds,
Sue
