Wow, I can’t begin to describe to you just how sweet this couple is to each other.   Gentle, caring, considerate are three words that instantly come to mind to help.  Photographing their chemistry was a dream and makes me even more excited to share their big day of happiness and romance next June at the Rabbit Room, Honeoye Falls, NY.

Spending this time with them for their session at Mendon Ponds Park, NY was also a special treat because they are moving from Rochester to California and won’t be coming back until the Wedding.  It was so interesting talking to them about their new place, and sharing their excitement for something new.

I’ve only ever lived in NY and can’t imagine picking up and heading across the country…away from everything to start a new life.  Having each other to help guide them will definitely make the change fun and full of adventure!

Congratulations Carly and Wes!  Have fun out there!  I can’t wait to capture your happiness on the Big Day! :)

Wow, so this was the first Hindu Wedding ceremony that I had the extreme privilege to photograph.  SO beautiful and full of tradition…and color!  Lots and lots of colors!
The entire celebration took place at one of my most favorite locations, the Rabbit Room in Honeoye Falls.   The rustic wood beams, twisting vines, stone work, and flower pots  complete the natural charm of this unique venue.  You can go for dinner any time – it’s such a treat, you must experience it.

As the day began, the Bride and Groom wore their American attire as they planned to share their ‘First Look’ together.

About to share their ‘First Look’…so much excitement between them. ♥

I just LOVE how happy her smile is :)

Receiving Mehendi (the red henna design) is a symbol of prosperity that the Bride brings to her new family.  You can see the Grooms name written within the design as well which has significant meaning to their newly committed relationship.    We all just loved it, so beautiful.  Tradition also requests that she have a design on her feet!

Someone’s excited to get married ♥

After the ceremony and congratulations, our newlyweds changed into their American attire, and prepared to be announced into their celebration!

These three girlfriends looked amazing, and I loved their shirley temples :)

As always, the Rabbit Room and their head coordinator Sara did an Amazing job decorating…all the details, the lights…everything, gorgeous.

Look at this incredible cake!  Beautifully designed, and deliciously baked by Premier Pastry, Rochester NY

I LOVE when there’s a ‘candy’ bar as the favor…this little box with their initial holds the so fun color coordinated treats…and did you notice the ROCK candy??! :)

Delicious dinner!  Crab stuffed fish, with delectable sides…AND Indian cuisine that was unbelievably authentic…mmmm!

Dancing!

As sunset crept in, we headed out on the porch for some quiet moments together ♥
