When I heard that Megan was expecting and that she was already into her final weeks, I immediately got in touch with her to schedule a time for a little session.  She was a past Bride of mine and had been through a lot since I had seen her.  I really really wanted her to remember this incredible magical experience.   We were together for just 15 minutes…long enough to capture a few images that she’ll treasure for her lifetime.

She has a heart of gold,  a radiant smile, and the sweetest personality …. I feel blessed to know her.  As soon as you walk into her home, you know someone special lives there, and that she wants you to feel that way about yourself too.

Congratulations Megan!  I can’t wait to meet your sweet baby bundle.  Enjoy every snuggly minute with your precious little boy. ♥

I can’t tell you what it means to me to be invited into the families lives that choose me to capture their smiles and celebrations.  I was first introduced to this lovely couple, Laura and Michael at the Wedding of her sister Elizabeth last year.  When they met with me, they already knew they wanted me to preserve their memories beautifully too.  ♥

As we got talking about their relationship, and things they like to do together, camping came up at one point.  In thinking ahead to their Engagement session, I knew exactly where I wanted to take them for a walk in the woods.  Linear park is one of my favorite spots.  It’s where we got our Engagement session done too…there’s a beautiful creek there, tons of trees, and it feels like camping to me.  Their session was adorable, like I wasn’t even there.

When I saw Laura walk in to the Casa Larga gift shop with her veil followed by her best friends, I was instantly filled with excitement for their Big Day.  Such a beautiful bride!  I was so happy to see her sister, Elizabeth again too…they both have such beautiful smiles.

Laura’s dress was incredible, and watching her get ready was spectacular.

Wow. ♥

Time to get to the ceremony!  Michael and his Groomsmen were relaxing together before the big moment.
And when at a winery, why not have a little glass of chardonnay ;)
SO handsome!

I got to see Brian (Elizabeth’s husband) too!  Both these guys did a perfect job as ushers. :)

Here comes the beautiful bride!

Reverend Kris Miller held a beautiful service for Laura and Michael.

Congratulations!!!

Laura had the Bridesmaids bracelets custom designed and made, each with their initial, so thoughtful and pretty!

We were a little worried about the wind messing with Michael’s hair….but it was worth it ;)

Cocktail hour!

Casa Larga is such a beautiful place for a Wedding…look at all these colors…I’ve always LOVED the electric blue ceiling!
Sarah Ann and her team did an incredible job on the design and details of this beautiful room, as they always do, wow.
They were all super sweet to me, and to all the guests…so accommodating and helpful! :)

The orchid centerpieces were incredible and so unique!  A beautiful presentation designed by Pittsford Florist

I’ve never seen a cake like this…so romantic, and elegant.  Another stunning creation by Premier Pastry.  Delicious too! :)

Introducing, the new Mr. and Mrs!

Dancing to the beautiful song,  ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri

Heartfelt toasts and congratulations were made.

Have you ever been at a Wedding that plays the dollar game?
The DJ’s from Sound Express got this party started!
The game was so fun, and it makes for great pictures together.
Don’t get stuck with the money though!  ;)

Once dinner was served, and our couple was finished eating, we headed outside to the beautiful vineyard for some pictures.
It’s so nice when we get the chance to take some more in the changing light and in different locations.

I LOVE this picture, so funny!  We’re like…we should peek a boo through the vines and make funny faces…and they did it! :)

SO in love. ♥

mmmm, let them eat cake!

I always love the father/daughter, mother/son dances….and I tear up every time.

Party time!

Look at that handsome Groom…shaking it for his new wife, LOVE it!

Caught a quick moment between our first Wedding couple…they’re so cute. :)

Congratulations Michael and Laura!  Your Wedding was filled with laughter, and surrounded by beautiful details and smiles all around.
SO happy for you!

With love and bubbles,

Sue

This beautiful young woman came to me a few months before her Wedding wanting to have some boudoir style pictures taken as a gift for her fiance.  She was excited to have a little book made of the images as a gift to give him on the day of their Wedding.  (aw!)  When she told me about his emotional reaction when he saw them, it made me so happy that she had wanted to do this for him, and that I was invited into this unique and romantic session.  I think he was overwhelmed with the thought of his Bride-to-be sharing herself in this way as a gift for him.  Of course he fell in love with the images, but I do also believe that he knew the importance of her vulnerability, heart, and soul that was placed into the thought of them, and in wanting him to share it in the permanence of this beautiful imagery for their lifetime together.

If you are even considering a session like this, I would love to talk to you about it.  Believe me, I know everything you’re thinking, and more.  You can trust me, and know that I am only thinking about you and how beautiful you are when we’re together.   Just let me.  You will love it. :)

xoxo
