Congratulations on your upcoming Wedding ~ you must be so excited to be planning for the Big Day!
If you received a goodie bag from the show, save my card, schedule a get together with me, and if you choose me as your photographer by the end of January 2010, you’ll receive a complimentary canvas print after your Wedding ~ a $200 value!
I would love to have the privilege of being your photographer, and I look forward to hearing all about the special details of your celebration ~ have fun!

It still amazes me after these last few years of running a business of my own, just how genuine, sincere, and thankful my families and couples are for the pictures and service I provide for them. After years and years of working in the corporate world, I was lucky if I ever got a ‘thank you’ for all the hard work I was doing…but I always appreciated it if one came my way. Now, I am blessed to be doing something I am absolutely passionate about, I’m surrounded by happiness and love within the families and couples I photograph, and am thanked and appreciated beyond anything that I am worthy of.
Every time I receive a new testimonial, the expressions of gratitude and praise fill my heart with happiness because it reminds me that those treasured moments in time are equally as important to others as they are to me.
This most recent testimonial was written by a mother of the bride; someone I truly adore and I felt like one of the family the minute I was welcomed into their home and celebration. Thank you Jan for taking the time to write this ~ your family will always be close to my heart.
“When we began our search for a wedding photographer, I happened onto Sue’s website, and after looking at her photos, decided to meet her in person. We immediately liked her friendly, happy demeanor—and we loved the beautiful pictures she showed us.
We next saw Sue on my daughter’s wedding day—and she found us all sitting around the family room table eating and laughing. I think she wondered why we weren’t further along in readiness, so she calmly but effectively moved us into action! She is remarkably easy-going as she does her job—and she clearly was sharing our joy that day. She quietly moved around, snapping wonderful candid shots, and the requisite “posed” pictures were very easily taken. Again, her light manner, her ability to blend in, and her wonderful positive attitude made what can be onerous actually quite fun!
In looking through the hundreds of photos that Sue took throughout the day, it is really striking that there is not a single picture of someone with a “plastic” smile. The photos tell a story of family and friends celebrating altogether. She managed to beautifully capture the wedding—and especially the radiant, happy bride and groom. I think that Sue’s personality really helped to elicit the joyful responses from those being photographed!
We felt that we were in very good hands with Sue—and really appreciated her professional, unobtrusive, yet fun nature. I personally can’t thank her enough for the beautiful reminders of one of the best days of my life! ”

Out of the blue, I recently received a package in the mail from one of my 2009 Wedding couples. I started wondering, what could it be…what could it be? As soon as I opened it, there was a Thank You note lying on top which I couldn’t wait to read:
“Dear Sue,
Thank you so much for doing such a beautiful job with our Wedding photos! You really captured the day and we will cherish these pictures forever. Our family and friends were so impressed with your work – you are so talented, expect to be hearing from us about future family portraits! Thank you for making this such a special day for us!”

I am so lucky and blessed to be a Wedding photographer; there is no better place to be than behind the lens watching love and happiness flourish all around me.
I continued to open the box, and found two birch candle holders in there … the same ones that were adorned throughout their Wedding reception. It was so incredibly thoughtful for them to share this special detail of their Wedding with me … I have always had a love for birch wood and I was so drawn to the details of this Wedding…and now I have a special memento from their celebration.

Here is a sample of birch /bicycle pictures from their Wedding day:

THANK YOU Erin and Brent for thinking of me, and for this lovely gift … Your Wedding was beautiful, and I am thrilled to hear how much you’ve enjoyed your pictures.
Cherish them always.
