As we  approach Father’s Day, I am reminded that this amazing Husband is about to celebrate this special holiday for the very first time.   They have been through a lot, and it makes me so happy to know that they’re about to welcome a baby bundle to love and raise.

I have known this adorable couple since photographing their Engagement and Wedding in 2007.  When John contacted me wanting to surprise his wife with a Maternity and Newborn session, I was thrilled to hear their wonderful news.  The best part?  Bailey contacted me too – not knowing that John already did!  It all worked out, but it was so cute how everything played through. 

So here we are, Father’s Day weekend….and I couldn’t be happier for these two as they await their miracle arrival.  ♥

They are waiting to find out if baby will be a boy or girl until its’ arrival….there are some really cute ‘reveal’ photos we did that I’ll post once baby is here.
They did an amazing job on the nursery…little lions!  Everywhere I looked was a memory…or something created by friends and family for the baby.  So much thought and care
went into every detail. ♥

This stork has been in the family since John was announced as a baby!  Under the beak, there are hooks for hanging either ‘It’s a Boy!’ or ‘It’s a Girl!’
On the back of the stork are names of all the babies born over the years in their family…just amazing.

Congratulations you two!  Such an amazing time in your lives right now and I am so excited to help greet your little bundle into the world.
